A good effort, clearly varietal with a mix of grapefruit and floral flavors. Medium intensity, the fruit is penetrating and tart, and the floral scents have a somewhat soapy character, which is not unpleasant. The wine is technically off-dry, but really shows little sweetness. || Scents are spicy and herbal, with notes of fresh cut apple, tart pear and citrus. Light and dilute, it seems to disappear quickly in the mouth, without the weight or ripe fruit flavors that many Oregon Pinot Gris can display.
