The juice is sharp and spicy, with some baking spice and cinnamon livening up the back of the palate. The fruit flavors suggest boysenberry and blackberry, set up against stiff acids and earthy tannins. Young and still a little rough around the edges, this distinctive bottling should be cellared for a few years and could go as long as a decade or more.
