A touch creamy and lactic at first, but it picks up leathery, more rustic notes with airing. Flavors of plum, blackberry and broad-grained oak lead into a spicy finish with both cinnamon and tree-bark notes. Maybe it's a bit basic, but it's juicy, well made and tasty.
