Fairly light and leathery, with strained aromas of animal hide and burnt berry fruit. The palate feel is light to medium, with scratchiness, and the flavors are of roasted fruit, leather and dryness. Spice and a slight bitterness define the finish. Has a few issues but still a good wine for $10.
