This is a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend grown in the little appellation of Sonoma Mountain. It shows firm tannins and deeply concentrated flavors of currants and cherries, accented with smoky new oak. Despite the tannins, it has a softness that makes it drinkable now.
