Smells of raspberries, but tastes meaty, chalky and a hint metallic, though the metallic edge isn't too much of a bother. Thick, dusty, very dry tannins complete the picture. Imported by Clos Du Val Wine. || Medium bodied and firmly structured, this stands apart from many Australian Shiraz for those characteristics. It also boasts scents of leather, cedar and vanilla on the nose, backed by flavors of plum and black cherry. The leathery notes re-emerge on the finish alongside mouth-watering fruit.
