From a popular vineyard in the mountains north of the Santa Maria Valley, this bottling shows strong blackberry-pie notes as well as tighter scents of black-plum skins. Purple fruits and flowers of lavender and violet pop on the palate, where zesty acidity carries the sip into an ever-so-slightly caramel finish.
