Pretty standard stuff, making it something of a disappointment in an Erste Gewächs context. Petrol notes upfront, followed by honey, pear and citrus fruit and a long, mineral-inflected finish. It's good, but this sample didn't sparkle. || There's a slate-like minerality that permeates through the layers of honey, wax and heather on this impeccably dry Riesling.
