With just 49 acres for the whole appellation, Marcillac is a little-known area in the southern foothills of the central mountains of France, planted entirely with Mansois. This wine is smooth with a aromas of spice and tobacco, stalky tannins and black currant fruit. It can easily be drunk now, although this young and fruity wine will be better from 2018.
