The subtlest notes of earth and honey suggest an evolving wine. The palate takes these further and wraps them up in fruit flavors that owe as much to lemon zest as they do to the peel of pear and russet apple. There is focus and poise on the palate and real tension between toned, muscular fruit and sprightly freshness. This is just coming out of its shell. Drink 2016–2026.
