Reduced aromas of cassis and blackberry come with a whiff of wet dog. This foamy sparkling red is heavy on the palate, without much delicacy. Black cherry and boysenberry flavors are candied but not cloying, while a foamy, blocky finish is fruity yet ponderous due to low acidity.
