Fabulous aromatics on this blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. About one-third inclusion of the stems during fermentation gives it a spiciness, and also some grippy tannins. Underneath are bright red and black stone fruits and berries. Very exotic and compelling. || Almost a dessert wine, it's so sweet and high in alcohol. This Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache blend has tremendous flavors because the vintage heat was freakish. One can only hope Mother Nature will afford drier wines going forward. || Fabulous aroma…
