Underbrush, cooking spices, dark berry and scorched earth aromas waft out of the glass. On the firm, full-bodied palate, licorice, tobacco and clove accent the core of ripe black cherry. Firm, well-integrated tannins give it a structured but polished feel. Drink 2018–2028. || Barolo Arione is a mature expression of Barolo with strawberry and blackberry preserves backed by volatile aromas of green apple and old spice. The wine feels rich and thick in the mouth with a thick, chewy finish.
