The raspberry, cherry and blackberry flavors are delicious, and the oak brings just the right touch of sweet, smoky toast. The tannins are rich and fine, and the palate bears a streak of citrusy acidity that cuts right down the middle. It should mellow with 5–6 years in the bottle.
