This opens with a jammy fruit aroma, led primarily by blackberry preserves and prune. The tight tannins give the wine composure and solid firmness on the finish. || Bulky fruit, leather and some overt wood manifesting itself as dry cheese comprise the bouquet. Plum, red currant and cherry tomato make for a tight, snappy palate. Lots of zip, although tannic and tight.
