Hard gritty tarry aromas of black olive and black fruits are fully charred. A saturated grabby tannic palate feels rough, while the wine's flavors match its nose, meaning this tastes peppery, tarry and charred more than fresh and fruity. A tight, tannic, toasty finish is consistent with the rest of this dark, crusty Crianza. Drink through 2023.
