Coming from a reliable vineyard in the Los Alamos Valley, this wine presents aromas of dried violet, blackberry, leather and espresso. Brooding dried-cherry fruit directs the palate, which benefits further from roasted game and crushed oregano and thyme. The tannins are still prominent. || Dark, dense in structure and fairly tannic, this Syrah floods the mouth with powerfully ripe flavors of blackberries, cherries, cola, leather, spices and sandalwood.
