Still very tannic and heavy at the age of more than five years. It's quite soft in acids, which accentuates the heaviness, and the cherry, herb and tobacco flavors lead to an astringent finish. Not going anywhere. || A bit sharp and weedy, and very dry, but it's a good, clean wine that trades structure for richness.
