The nose is still a bit closed but eventually reveals leather, game, berry and forest floor. The palate is more expressive, delivering concentrated wild cherry, black raspberry, cooking spice, savory herb and anise. A backbone of firm but polished tannins and fresh acidity provides the framework. Drink 2020–2030.
