Despite opening with reduced raisiny rooty aromas of cough syrup and licorice, this sweet Mataro (Mourvèdre) comes around. Medicinal black cherry, cough drop, maple and chocolate flavors rest easily on a jammy palate. The longer this sits, the more it evolves.
