A solid, serious Rioja reserva with licorice, leather, char and good berry aromas. The palate is juicy, pure and tastes of clean black cherry and cola flavors. Picks up steam as it opens up, and then finishes with a light butter streak and proper weight. No complaints; almost makes the upper echelon. Drink now through 2012.
