It’s funny how a wine like this, so austere in both aroma and flavor, can be so appealing. For one thing, the acidity is enormously high, and really turns on the taste buds. What flavors there are tend toward limes and unripe peaches, but the real deal is mineral and herb. It really shines in cleanliness, zestiness and liveliness.
