There aren't many biodynamically grown Pinot Noirs available for such a modest tariff, so this effort, made by the former assistant winemaker at Escarpment, is notable. It features taut, crisp black-cherry fruit along with bits of leather and earth. Drink now and over the next few years, but expect future vintages to show more complexity and longevity as the young vines mature.
