This is a Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Umbria with intense spice on the nose and a solid background chorus of red cherry fruit, chocolate, cinnamon, small berries and dried prunes. The wine really wins points in the mouth where it delivers gorgeous intensity and long lasting persistency with lingering notes of exotic spice.
