From a magical place in the heart of Sonoma Valley, near several marquee spots for Zin, this estate-grown brawler is high-octane, yet drinkable, a yeasty, brambly expression of tar, leather, meat and black licorice. Only the second vintage from the producer, the wine's weight doesn't overpower its potential, which should develop further in time.
