This Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is sourced from the estate's Pheasant Run vineyard. Aromas offer a mature mix of baking spices, dusty cocoa and chocolate-covered cherries. The flavors thin out from there, seeming to drop into a chocolate/tannin echo chamber. Not unpleasant, but lacking the depth and texture that have been there in the past.
