Oxidized, stemmy aromas suggest a stalky, burnt-out wine. Things are slightly better in the mouth, where the feel is narrow and the flavors are bitter, stalky and hint at peach pit and citrus peel. This is hollow on the finish but lively in feel. || There's a briny note to the nose on this Xarel-lo, and otherwise not a lot of fruit besides a hint of nectarine. The palate brings bright acidity, while lime, tangerine and nectarine flavors finish with minerality, hence the name, which is Catalan for limestone.
