This is traditional Barossa Shiraz, aged in new American oak hogsheads, which have imparted a thick layer of vanilla and dill over the top of some lovely blackberry-tinged fruit. The texture is creamy, the tannins, supple, the finish infused with notes of coffee, spun sugar and spice. Drink now–2014, possibly longer. Imported by AUSA Pacific, LLC.
