Anyone making Grenache Blanc in California should be encouraged, Terre Rouge's version being a delightfully drinkable mix of apple and peach with a rich, full mouth that finishes crisp. Grown at high elevation (2,200 feet) on the Hawk Creek Vineyard in Sierra Foothills, a small production worth seeking out. And it's only 13% alcohol.
