This bottling from a warm part of the upper Carmel Valley is lavish, rich and inviting on the nose, with cassis, French toast, vanilla and lilac aromas. It's thick on the palate, with blackberry syrup, maple and snickerdoodle flavors, cut by bountiful acidity.
