A parcel of fine red clay in the Bouscassé vineyard is the inspiration behind this wine. That gives both richness and a strongly mineral character that brings out a distinct texture and considerable acidity. The wine is dark, brooding, still with plenty of fresh fruits. Almost ready to drink, it will always have powerful tannins and acidity. Decanting this wine is essential.
