Here's an impressive new name in Barolo. Mauro Molino first bottled in 1985 and has shown consistent results that seem to have hit a high point this vintage. Fruit is harvested from the Vigna Conca cru, resulting in elegant and refined pulses of wild berries, cola and white almond. The wine is delicate and feminine, but delivers a blast of power and persistency on the close.
