Roughly equal parts Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this is probably Lirac's top wine at the moment. It's big and rich in the mouth, leaving behind a coating of dark fruit, hints of meaty savoriness, baking spices and softly layered wood. || Mouthfilling and fat—almost too much so—this is a chunky, weighty example of Tavel that almost demands to be served alongside red meat, like a light red rather than a rosé.
