It's not often you find a varietal Piquepoul Blanc outside of the south of France, but this seems to suit well to the hot Texan climate. Striking notes of ripe peach, apricot and white lily carry the nose and palate. There's good tension and texture in this light- to medium-bodied wine, which would lend well to pairing alongside grilled seafood.
