This has intense fragrances of moist earth, blackberry, raisin and almond. The rich palate offers concentrated black cherry, plum, cinnamon and black pepper flavors. It shows the warmth of the vintage and while it doesn't seem to have enough fresh acidity for long-term aging, it's velvety-smooth and delicious now.
