This rating is probably as much a reflection of tasting the wine too late in its evolution as anything else. At this mature state, the wine is heavy and syrupy, with stalky, almost bitter red-fruit flavors. Finishes with matchstick and grassy flavors. Wait for the 2011. || Magenta in color and spritzy, with aromas of chunky red plum, cherry and citrus. There's nothing off or stinky here, but for some reason it seems a little heavier and less precise than it has been. Look for pink grapefruit, brine and berry flavor…
