This is a structured and beautifully wood-aged wine. It comes from vineyards high up in the hills above the Douro, giving a balanced character to the wine. Red berries and black plum skins give the fruit, balanced by the dense, dry core of serious tannins. It's a wine for long aging, so don't drink before 2018.
