This intense wine opens with classic Nebbiolo aromas of black fruit, underbrush and a whiff of balsamic herbs. The vibrant palate doles out succulent black cherry and red berry accented with white pepper, leather, licorice, sage and thyme. It's well balanced but still young, displaying assertive tannins and nervous acidity. Drink after 2020.
