A single-vineyard Garnacha that's ripe and sultry. There's earth and oak on the mineral-tinged nose and then smooth flavors of blackberry, baked plum and spice. Feels soft and mature for Garnacha, and therein lies the secret of Montsant: The better wines (like this one) have a pleasant, friendly quality to them. || Pure Garnacha, which is anathema in the region.
