Satisfying and delicious at every point. The bouquet is lovely; it delivers dense plum fruit, chili-like spice and mounds of wet earth. The palate is pure blackberry and dark plum, and it finishes smooth as silk, with just enough coarseness to add texture and grit. Firm but not hard. A definite winner from Abruzzo.
