Warm aromas of lightly buttered apples, lemon cream croissant, yellow cake and dainty caramel invite the nose into this bottling by retired pro baseball players Dave Roberts (today manager of the L.A. Dodgers) and Rich Aurilia. The palate is creamy and buttery, but judiciously so, with custard flavors framed by a bright lemony acidity and finishing on vanilla bean.
