In the south of the Médoc and away from the Gironde estuary, this vineyard has produced a wine that is half Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. That blend gives the wine its structure as well as the juicy black-currant acidity. The wood aging has filled the wine out to give a bottle with good aging potential. Drink from 2020. || This is a well structured, rich wine. It has solid, ripe red-berry and black-currant fruits that dominate the firmer tannins, giving a juicy, generous feel. Well worth aging for 3–5 years. |…
