Drier than the 2008 at just under 1% residual sugar, this offers lime-driven citrus fruit flavors, wrapped in puckery acidity. It opens with pleasing aromas of blossom and sweet pea, and has the grip and finish of some Austrian or German trocken-style Rieslings. It would be interesting to cellar it for 6–8 years, but it's drinking well already.
