Acidity marks this wine, so much that it's practically sparkling. It's also exorbitantly ripe in pineapple and orange jam, with lots of sweet, caramelized new oak. The overall impression is one of a heavily overworked Chardonnay, but it is not without a certain hedonistic appeal.
