The Encruzado is Dão's own grape, rarely found outside this mountain region. Here, it has produced a smooth wine, with reminders of a mineral Chardonnay—textured, cool, collected and crisp. Apples and white fruits are laced with delicious, refreshing acidity. Drink from 2014.
