This is mellow upfront, but it also has solid plum and berry aromas. On the palate it's grabby but good, with tough tannins that support dark plum and savory notes. Chewy and chocolaty on the finish, it has a mossy accent and firm leftover tannins. || Sweet, candied, oaky aromas get it going, and the palate, while tannic and tough, is thin in its midsection.
