This blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blueberry and black plum accented with vanilla and coffee notes. Still tight, the palate offers up a core of rich black cherry accented with espresso, oak, vanilla and licorice alongside astringent, drying tannins. Give this a few years to unwind and fully develop.
