The hot vintage shows strongly, perhaps because this estate is located in the western part of Montalcino where elevations are lower and temperatures are a few degrees higher. The wine has a warm, brownish hue and delivers notes of mature black cherry, prunes and exotic spice. There's no freshness here and it won't last much longer.
