This is a terrifically enjoyable wine from Terre Rouge. It shows a distinct white pepper note in the aroma, and floods the mouth with delicious blackberry jam, dark chocolate, oatmeal raisin cookie, mushu plum sauce and licorice flavors. Easy to drink now, but complex and layered. || This is the winery's least expensive Syrah, but it's right up there with some of the more costly ones, which makes it a relative value.
