Here is a balanced and generous expression from the wonderful 2007 vintage that shows integrated oak tones against ripe cherry, blackberry and prune. There's a dusty background note of brimstone and wet river stone that gives this Brunello riserva an extra touch of sophistication. Elegance is this wine's strong suit. || An aging wine with a garnet-ruby color and bricking at the rim. Aromas of barbecue smoke, cured meat, leather, tobacco and dark fruit give way to tight, finely textured tannins on the palate.
